The first reaction to something unusual like a Talking Calculator with Earbuds is a “what the hell?”, but once you think about it…
Me and you and most people have average and above-average eyesight, so for us the task of reading a calculator’s display is trivial. But if you’re impaired… well, a gadget like this would be worth its weigh in gold for a maths major, for example.
It has a lot of features to simplify the use: it’s got a large screen, it can read aloud all that’s displayed (directly into your ears, so as to avoid disturbing everyone around), it even functions as an alarm clock and calendar!
