Real sumo can be difficult (and prohibited by some laws, if the opponent didn’t choose to join the game), but game sumo can be loads of fun.

Abalone is sumo in board game form. The game has one purpose: shove the opponent’s marbles off the board. To do that, a player needs to move his around until they outnumber the other color on a certain row. Once you accomplish that, you can push the other marbles a space further… and further… until they fall off the board. Once you do this 6 times, you’ve won.

After which the loser will smack you on the head with the box, but let’s not go that far.
