Awww, I think I might have found one of the best presents for a geek mum. It’s nothing innovative, it doesn’t have blinking lights or wifi detecting capabilities, but the Binary Mom t-shirt is just plain cool.

The binary code on the tee spells “MOM”, which is sure to make a woman the star of her kid’s group - the cool mum who actually knows geeky things, wow! Of course, if you’re planning to wear one of these, make sure you do actually know binary, because you wouldn’t want a bunch of 10-year olds laughing at you… (They’re vicious, I tell you!)

One thing I noticed about this t-shirt in particular is that it has a different cut compared to the other women’s tees on ThinkGeek: classic (looser) instead of tight, which shows someone out there really considered that it won’t be worn by teenagers. Kudos.
