Last minute Valentine shopping? You should’ve started earlier, but the deed is done and you’ve got to figure it out in the next 2 days.
The Valentine’s Tree is not the usual gift. All you will give your significant other will be a piece of paper. But if they care about the environment, that paper might be better than any teddy bear or expensive meal: it’s a certificate for the tree planted in their name. That’s right, through your $25 contribution an organization involved in a reforestation project will plant a tree in the place you choose (US, Israel or the Amazon), and you can even track it online.
So if you think this would work for your girlfriend or boyfriend, hurry: it’s just a paper, but you have to order now to receive before the big day.

People who feel the need to have their iPhone close at all time will love the In Your Face Viewbase.
Unlike other phone stands, it’s not tailored to fit something specific: it will clip to a car’s rear view mirror, a laptop, an airplane tray, basically anything up to 2 inches in width. Both iPhone 3G and iPod Touch work with it, and the flexible 8″ neck and adjustable swivel head let the user get the perfect viewing angle.
One thing fits all sounds like a pretty good deal to me… and it doesn’t feature any accident-prone suction cups.

For an “art objects with no specific function”, as it’s described, the Polaroid Mirror is nevertheless both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
It’s just a mirror indeed, and anyone could take a polaroid and make their own… but how many would actually do it and get a decent-looking result? Not so many, probably.
As usual with designer items, the price is by no means small, but we weren’t expecting that anyway.

Yes, it finally happened: zombies and bacon met. Will all undead change their line from “braaaains” to “baaaacon”? The Bacon Zombie t-shirt says “yes”.
The star of the t-shirt is a sort of Buridan’s zombie, with dead pigs strips and dead human grey matter at an equal distance from him… but if you follow its gaze, it’s clear it made up its mind: bacon is so much better.
This opens intriguing possibilies in case of a zombie invasion… I can say one thing: stock up.

The “Attack of the 50 Foot Baby” Stacking Blocks are a toy for the kids… made to entertain the parents. It’s pretty obvious.
It’s not exactly 50 ft (more like 30 inches), but what baby wouldn’t love to knock something down and not get scolded? The blocks are made from sturday cardboard, easy to push and stack, and if you’re lucky, the tots might enjoy it so much they’ll forget to test if your expensive vases can break.
But most parents will probably want it for the name. Admit it, don’t you just picture watching those home movies years later and laughing your ass off? The poor kid won’t have any idea what‘s so funny, but it might be a good time to introduce him or her to some classic movies.

Again, duct tape is interesting.
Self-Adhesive Magnetic Tape is a new concept with so many practical uses it should become a must-have item in any home. It does two things, and does them well: the magnetism makes it stick to metal, and the adhesive part sticks to… well, anything, without leaving any marks.
Can you see the implications? Put one strip on the wall, one on a piece of paper and get a notice board anywhere; once it becomes useless, remove the strips and the wall stays in one piece.
It might not seem like a big deal, but anyone could probably find a good use for a roll of this around the house.

What’s a true old-style gamer if he doesn’t flaunt it? Odds are the old Spectrum is stashed in the basement somewhere, but the Game Ties are a nice and easy way of showing your passion.
They come in 4 models: Pong, Tetris, Space Invaders and Asteroids and look pretty stylish for what are basically nerdy ties for cubicle monkeys.
But ah, the other monkeys will envy you so much… You can’t go wrong with classics like Space Invaders, really, but don’t try to wear it at a formal dinner with the wife or you’ll get smacked.

What do you call a colorful and slighty differently shaped Wii Nunchuk? A FunChuk, of course. Yeah, ok, it’s not that obvious, but that’s what these new accessories are.
They might look different, but they can connect to the Wii remote and are compatible with all the games that use the Nunchuk. So why get one instead of keeping the original? Well… they’re very colorful (Red / Orange / Yellow / Green / White / Black to be exact), they work even if you’re a leftie, have an accelerometer… and have a silly name.
Nothing more to see here, but if you’re bored with the ol’ Nunchuk now you’re got another alternative.

What’s more important: what you want or what you need? And where do you draw the line between the two? That’s the question the Need/Want Glass is asking us in art form.
Unlike regular glasses… this one comes with a hole right on the line between needing and wanting. If you cover it up with your finger, you can drink more than (what the artist says) you need, but should you do that?
A bit too metaphoric maybe, but if you’re in the mood it can give you food for thought. You know, children in Africa are dying and all that.

Graphics addicts already see the world with menus on every corner… so the Photoshop/Illustrator Magnet Kits were long overdue.
Each set comes with the pieces to make any magnetic board look like the familiar computer screen. Need your layers? There they are. Lasso tool? Just at the bottom. It will only take them 30 seconds to get the fridge looking like a monitor – just slip a photo under them and maybe they’ll visit it more often – or even cook.
There’s 2 magnet kits to choose from, one for Photoshop and the other for Illustrator.
