Clear Butter Gadget
I always use margarine on my sandwiches for one reason: I hate spreading cold butter. Yes, it tastes much better, but you either have to wait until it warms up a bit, shave thin strips over and over again or risk squishing your bread.
Is that reason enough to buy a $15 device? Not really… but then again, who knows.
The Clear Butter Gadget was designed to do one thing: squeeze out a ribbon of butter that’s just soft enough to spread. However, if you look at is as a storage tool too, it starts to be more appealing: the butter stays inside and never in contact with the air, so it will keep for longer.
Just another silly kitchen gadget? Perhaps not, after all. A tad overpriced, but worth it if used for a couple of years.
