I was having a conversation the other day about purses. I hate them; I have a couple for job interviews, but that’s it; a backpack or messenger bag is much more comfortable. On the other hand, I could never understand how some men can stuff everything in their pockets… my backpack has been called “survival kit” because it contains so many things I might need.

So my preference for having everything handy is tickled by the FreeHand - a “pocket” you attach to the back of your hand. Good if you run out of pocket space and you’re too manly to carry a bag… But it looks weird. I can’t picture someone actually wearing this on a daily basis.

However, it looks like a great idea for sports: you can go for a jog and keep your keys, money and phone close to you and never worry they’ll get stolen. Worth it if you frequently exercise, and available in both women’s and men’s versions.
