Some people get it… some don’t. The apron we had yesterday was fun, but also a perfectly functional covering for the kitchen. The Little Black Dress apron not only looks stupid, but is also very impractical.

Grease on a regular apron – wash, reuse. Grease on a lacey apron – wash, look at ruined apron, throw away.

Ok, I’m exaggerating, but it’s a apron, you shouldn’t be required to pay extra attention when washing it. And it’s ugly; it looks bad over a t-shirt and pants (as you can see in the picture). If you want to look bad in the kitchen just get a raggedy shirt, and if you just want an apron, no matter the look, you can definitely find a cheaper one. The only thing worse than this is the half-naked woman version.

Coco Chanel did say every woman should have a little black dress, but she wasn’t thinking about this.
