Magic Tree to Santa

What could be more wonderful on Christmas day than a Santa growing out of a tree?
Many things, actually; even though the idea is intriguing, the result isn’t that spectacular. But I’ll admit: even though the Magic Tree to Santa isn’t really magic, but chemistry, it can be entertaining. For a while.
The transformation has several steps:
1. Put the tree in water; it starts bubbling and Santa shows up.
2. Empty the glass and fill with fresh water.
3. Wait 72 hours until Santa grows to full size.
So far? Interesting. But after you get a Santa in glass of water what are you supposed to do with it? It’s ugly and can’t even be used as decoration.
