Desperate times call for desperate measures. Winter means cold hands, and what can you do if you don’t have gloves?

Well, there’s a bunch of solutions (like, you know, pockets), but if they’re not enough a hand warmer would help a lot. A real one.

The Micro Handy Warmer Cell Phone Strap is cute, but its warming capabilities don’t look very promising compared to a full sized one. The good part is that it comes in three models (fish, egg and potato) and it can be attached to a phone for extra style points. The bad part is that, although it stays warm for 15 minutes, it’s really tiny and will only warm part of a hand at a time.

And, as anyone who’s used this type of hand warmer knows, they need to be boiled to be reused… the process of boiling a phone charm with cloth parts is unclear to me.
