My Mystery UFO
Who’d buy a product that only has a photo, a short description and no explanation of how it works? Too risky?
Well, in the case of My Mystery UFO, the risk is worth it. Just look how cool it is!
So it’s a UFO-like object that spins in the air and moves around apparently by magic. I’ve seen similar things before which worked with magnets, but this doesn’t seem to be the case. And, of course, the website states that you need to buy it to get the secret explanation.
Naturally I’d say it’s bullshit and move on. But since my google skills have failed me and I couldn’t find out how this damn thing works, I’m very curious. And ah, imagine the look of friends’ faces when they see it for the first time… the frustration when I don’t tell then what it’s all about… All this for $12!
How much under $29.99?
Some: $8.95 on Amazon.com.

It moves along with the head movement of the person. To me it looks like an invisible string attached to the neck or the forehead.

Could be, but the kids in the video seem to be passing their hands over the UFO… and sometimes it’s in a position where a string would draw it back, yet it doesn’t move. I was thinking something along the lines of air movement, since they keep wiggling their fingers around it.

Just look up on youtube the magic flying card trick. Same thing. Thin wire or thread goes to hat/head/shoulder.

Hm, indeed it could be this, but then the presentation video is misleading, since it shows people throwing it across the room… They’d need to remove the string first to do that.
Cool trick nonetheless :D

I found a posting on the web stating that it’s attached to an invisible string

Read some of the reviews on amazon and you’ll find that 7/7 people gave it 1* as it is just, indeed, a peice of string attached to a bit of cardboard. Don’t waste your money.

I bought it 0.1start rating, the strings break and its a ufo made from card it sais to put string over ear and stick to t-shirt. It gets blue all over your t-shirt. Sorry to crash the product but it don’t do what it sais on the box. RIP OFF
