The Glove-N-8-R is a very silly name for a silly product, but if you want to imagine you’re Arnold Schwarzenegger while you’re trimming the hedge in the back yard… they’re just the thing.

Unfortunately, the robotic hands printed on the gloves won’t give you unhuman powers; underneath it all they’re just lined suede, warm but nothing else. Not to mention they’re no less than $20. I have a feeling many will change their mind and buy regular rubber gloves.

Uglydolls are ugly. Yes, just like that lolcat meme.

But they’re ugly and adorable at the same time. How can that be? Just click the link and look at them.

KOR One

Recycling and reusing have become buzzwords in recent years. Sometimes it becomes overwhelming, but this one thing that I don’t mind hearing about all the time. The more people talk about it, the more others will learn about the ideas and principles of green living and, even if just a fraction of them actually do something about it, it’s a step forward.

The KOR One is the lastest blogosphere “star” in the eco department. And it’s nothing more than a water bottle… or is it? KOR aims to make reusable water bottles cool – and pricing them at almost $30 might work.

I have to admit: it does look impressive. Nice design. BPA-free. Probably easier to reuse than a standard PET. Though $30 still looks a lot to me… But anyway, I am not the target for this: the tap water in my area is not exactly drinkable (it won’t kill you, but you don’t want know what’s in there). So I’m sorry planet, I’m sticking to bottled water since I don’t enjoy drinking rust and residue.

Bacon Salt

Some slightly disturbing cooking ingredients for today.

From what I’ve seen, this is mostly a female problem, but I bet anyone who’s ever had to cook for him/herself had at least one moment of “I have no idea what to make today”. I’m here with a suggestion – and I’m sure most of you will greet it with a hearty “wtf”. It’s Bacon Salt – because “Everything should taste like bacon”, as the manufacturers put it. It comes in 4 flavors (flavored salt with four flavors, yes): Original, Hickory, Peppered and Natural.

A weird idea, I must say, but despite that… strangely appealing. It might just be my hunger, but bacon does taste great, and getting the taste without the fat… mmmm.
