This is so pointless it even beats the onion goggles. The idea behind it is that humans are so stupid that they can’t realize that cooking a whole pack of pasta is too much for one person (OMGnowai!). Therefore, said humans need a cunning device to help them measure out their lunch: the Spaghetti Doser.

Basically, it’s a piece of plastic with a hole (well, actually three pieces of plastic, because it can dose one, two or three servings). You put your spaghetti through the hole, and when you can cram no more in, you know that’s your portion. This is praised as a means of keeping your diet under control, which is… disturbing, frankly. Are women that stupid?! You can measure the pasta with your fist or just by looking at it. If you think it might be too much for your diet, just put less in the pot, it’s easy! If you’ve got no self control and can’t abstain from dumping the whole pasta pack in water - you shouldn’t be dieting.

And if you’re not dieting… what do you care? Just estimate a quantity and adjust it with the next meals if it’s too large/too small. It doesn’t take much of a brain to be able to do that.
