I think I’ll lose a lot of geek points if I admit I don’t like Star Trek. I’m more of a BSG girl (give me realism, dudes! not “ooh, will Spock die or the ensign?”). However… there are a lot of fans out there who will definitely love this.

It comes with lights and sounds straight from the TV show, a “hailing function” (press a button, close the grill, and 5 seconds later you’ll get a call from the Enterprise) and over 20 sound effects and phrases, including “Spock here, Captain.”, “Scotty here, Captain.”, “Transporter room ready to beam up.” Unfortunately, though they might make you feel like Captain Kirk, you have to remember that teleporters don’t exist and you still have to wait for the bus.
