Stop destroying out planet t-shirt
I sometimes feel that ecologists think everyone should and will care about our planet, Mother Nature, the rainforest etc. Yes, it would be lovely if it happened, but let’s be serious, it never will, most people are much too selfish. So why not an alternate approach? Don’t save the planet because 6 billion people will benefit; do it for yourself. Screw the others, but it would be good to live in a less polluted town, right?
This t-shirt uses this idea… in an even more selfish way. Others should work for your comfort. The “Stop destroying out planet. It’s where I keep my stuff.” t-shirt is something I’d like to see worn. I wonder what the ecologists’ reaction would be… just the end result is important or it also has to be for the “right” reasons?
I’m somewhere in between “I want to live better” and “Think about our children” (heavily influenced by eco-apocalyptic novels), but I think the t-shirt rocks. It’s promoting a worthwile cause while also poking fun at some people who take themselves too seriously or are ignoring reality.
