Product Description Our favorite travel mug keeps coffee hot up to 6 hours. Unlike most travel mugs, this mug has a vacuum between the walls for increased performance. Super-efficient valve top opens by pushing the center button and closes by pushing the outer ring. This unique leak-proof design keeps coffee hot for up to 6 hours. No need to fumble for a handle or find the drink hole, allowing you to keep your eyes on the road.

Great for on the go, but... November 12, 2008 Sara I like this mug because it doesn't have a handle or a single spot you have to drink from. I can just throw it in my purse before I leave in the morning. It's not as easy to clean as I thought it was going to be after reading some reviews from this mug and some of it's competitors. The top comes completely apart, but there are little crevices that are difficult to get to.
nice mug - bad smell July 8, 2008 Picky Consumer 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
as someone else mentioned, there is a plasticky creepy smell which made me sick to my stomach. A little investigation revealed the source of the smell is the two white soft-plastic sealing O-rings. The other reviewer mentioned that the smell dissappated after a few weeks (!), and I'm hoping the same will happen for me. Until then I really find it unusable cuz it makes me sick and ruins the drink in the mug; its that overpowering. I've scrubbed removed and scrubbed the rings with detergent but so far they smell as strong as ever. UPDATE: It took 5 full days of airing out the rings on the kitchen table before the smell dissipated. But once back in the mug, presumably from the closed space inside, it reappeared. Might return it.
this may be the one June 7, 2008 jerseykk (AR) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I searched Amazon reviews for three days, looking for a travel mug that met four very specific criteria: 1) Must be vacuum insulated and keep coffee hot for more than 2 hours 2) Must not spill under ordinary conditions. 3) Must be easy to clean (i.e. including being able to periodically take the top apart and clean all surfaces that come in contact with drink). 4) Must be narrow enough to fit in those dinky european car cup holders. If these four items are your main requirements, this may be the one for you. I've been using it for two weeks now, and I have no complaints....yet. As far as capacity is concerned, I've had no trouble with it holding two six ounce cups plus some cream. If you fill it this full, it's a good idea to press the button to open the top before you tighten it all the way down. After that, you can close it again for transport, and it's less likely to build up pressure. There is a "top cap" that screws into the mouthpiece cap. If you screw this on, the mug will not leak. If you leave it off, you just have to make sure you don't turn it over or upside down, and you should have no worries. If you are the kind of person who ends up with their stuff all over the seats and floor of your car at the end of a commute, you should always use the top seal in the car (I'll reserve comment on your driving skills - and it doesn't matter what city you live in. Kids in the car....OK, I'll give you that). The mug keeps my coffee a very pleasant drinking temp for at least 4 hours. This could probably be extended with hotter beverage to start, or pre-warming with hot water (who has time for this, I don't know). Cleaning so far is a breeze, although you do want to pay particular attention to the silicone gaskets...they tend to build up a little crud if you don't take them off and clean them when you do the rest of the pieces. Right now this mug is not sold directly by Amazon, so you are pretty much stuck with shipping costs, but it's inexpensive enough that it still costs less than some of the others on the site. In my opinion, if you pay more than three dollars for a mug that cannot be properly cleaned, you are wasting your money (unless you just need a quick fix, and plan to throw it away in a week. In that case, go to the dollar store). The only reasons I don't give it five stars - I would like to see it hold another ounce or two, and have fewer moving parts. Other than that, a good choice for the money.
The JoeMo Rocks!! May 20, 2008 Nancy Hartsock The JoeMo Rocks!! I stumbled onto this mug a couple years ago and they are fantastic. I have 2, one for tea and one for coffee. And am seriously considering getting a 3rd for water. Not only does your hot stay hot but the cold stays ice cold as well. You will have ice in your water hours later. And they are virtually indestructible. I have dropped them, rolled them down the drive, got them stuck in the dishwasher rack and my dogs have rolled them around the house. They've got a couple small dents in the bottom but they still work just like new. The price is fabulous, worth every penny. I wish Highwave would make a larger version for those long days when I'm on the road or in training sessions and need the jumbo drink. Invest in a JoeMo, you will not be disappointed.
Best travel cup I've seen May 14, 2008 Book worm (MD) Everyone my husband works with wants to know how to get this cup because it keeps his coffee hot for hours. Spillproof is a hugh plus.
