I believe we’ve all taken out some heat in our days on our computer or at least keyboard. I don’t think there’s anyone who hasn’t lost a screw while tinkering with their PC. Light sources are not always readily available (you have the ceiling lamp, but I doubt it gives out enough light to look for a tiny screw). And if the cables in your PC are a mess…. you’re (forgive the pun) screwed.

I bought a magnetic screwdriver for this purpose and it does make my life easier, but I still need to drag my lamp off the desk when I look for the elusive screw. I can deal with that, because I only work on my PC when desperately necessary (i.e. motherboard gets fried or similar), but I’m sure people who work in IT would appreciate this nifty little tool.

We love our PCs, right? They’re our connection to the world (and, for some, to that scary place called “outside”). Nothing could destroy this relationship… Or could something?
