I bought a magnetic screwdriver for this purpose and it does make my life easier, but I still need to drag my lamp off the desk when I look for the elusive screw. I can deal with that, because I only work on my PC when desperately necessary (i.e. motherboard gets fried or similar), but I’m sure people who work in IT would appreciate this nifty little tool.
