Is your decaf really decaf? Is that tea really caffeine-free or not?
If you’ve got a medical issue or you simply don’t want to get more hyper, the D+caf Caffeine Test Strips are the simplest answer to the caffeine question. Each pack comes with 20 strips which can detect non-decaf beverages – i.e. above 20 mg caffeine per 6 oz. serving – with a 98% accuracy.
They basically work like pregnancy tests, just that the liquid is *ahem* different. Dip it in the cup of warm or hot beverage, wait 30 seconds… and then you can return the so-called decaf to that smug barista who can’t fulfill an order properly.

Most bottle openers only need to do one thing and do it right: let people open their booze with ease. But if you’re a bartender (or the designated person-in-charge-with-drinks) and want to impress, check out the Kolorcoat Bottle Openers.
Underneath they’re good old stainless steel openers, but the special Kolorcoating process decorates both sides and the edges with full color artwork in literally dozens of designs. From girly to grunge, to sports to naughty and even neon colors, they’ve got it all… even some holiday themes, if you’re lacking gift ideas for the moment.
And it gets better: most models can be printed on various styles of openers, if the classic isn’t your thing.

What does a coffee drinker do when stranded in a place with no electricity and no means to grind real coffee? Judging by some people’s reactions to this scenario, the answer is probably “die from lack of caffeine”.
Those people would order the Traveler Handheld Coffee Mill in a flash. It’s well designed for travel: the handle detaches for easy storage, it’s 9″ tall and weighs 10 ounces and can make a respectable 6 to 9 cups of coffee.
But it’s completely useless. No, you won’t die without the perfect brew. Two words: instant coffee. Blasphemy? No, just convenience.

If you’ve run out of tricks to impress your friends at the office Christmas party, perhaps “magically” inserting a straw through a bottle cap would reestablish your reputation. Ok, it doesn’t sound impressive, but it’s a cool trick.
And it’s just that easy: buy a BottleBob Bottle Cap Punch, pierce a hole, show up happily sipping Coke through the cap, watch the look on their faces. Of course, in half an hour everyone will be using it, but at least you’ll have been the first.
It works with metal and plastic caps, no matter the bottle, but sticking to soda is the safer option. Straws and alcohol don’t mix.

How could a party take place without a Shots Gun? Oh, of course you don’t need one, but think of the drunken fun!
They meant it when they called it a gun: it’s shaped like a pistol, although it won’t kill anyone… but someone could end up passed out on the floor, because it’s the perfect tool to direct a stream of beer at a thirsty man’s mouth.
The “shots” part is innacurate, though; a shot is small, but this is made for serious drinking.
There’s no need for special preparation: it screws onto any regular bottle. Let the boozing begin!

Tea lovers are always on the lookout for new accessories for their favorite drink – even if they sometimes don’t end up using them.
What’s a given is that loose tea leaves can’t be brewed without an infuser (well, they can, but no one wants them floating around in their cup). The TeaStick Gems are an alternative to the old ball or cup mesh infusers… and they do it with style.
A TeaStick Gem is a piece of plastic that resembles a spoon with a stainless steel mesh keeping the leaves in place. The advantages are mainly visual: the design is definitely attractive and watching the tea swirl will have its appeal for a while.
As for the usability part… it’s probably similar to a mesh ball infuser, i.e. a bit difficult to clean. But seeing how many people use the latter, it shouldn’t be an issue.

What everyone needs is, of course, a bottle opener. Hey, you never know when you’re going to want a beer in the middle of nowhere…
A regular opener isn’t such a big deal, but you need to remember to bring it along, which is too much trouble. So the alternative is to look like a douche but be able to enjoy a cold one at any time: here’s the Corona Hat with Bottle Opener.
The hat’s ok (especially for fans of the brand), but would you be want to be seen in public with a bottle opener on your head? Might as well wear a sign with “I’m a ancoholic dork” while you’re at it. (Suuure, it’s for Coke…)
I’m exaggerating, yeah, but this is just too silly.

Putting the cap back on a bottle is too much work for some people, or else the Fizz Saver Dispenser wouldn’t be marketed as such a life-saving device.
It functions on a relatively simple principle: it screws onto the top of the bottle which is then flipped around, and a tube and nozzle dispense the drink right into a glass.
Why this would save the fizziness better? No clue. But the idea of drinking soda from the tap is cool, so that alone is a reason to buy one.
P.S. Ignore the bad editing job on the photo, the nozzle doesn’t go directly in the bottle, they just deleted the tube by mistake.

Christmas spirit is great. Most people (religious or not) enjoy the fuzzy feeling of the holidays and love decorating and getting into the proper mood.
But sometimes decorating goes over the top. Tinsel, various ornaments, seasonal centerpieces – fabulous. Santa Christmas Snow Globe Bottle Stopper – less so. Snow globes are amazing… when they’re good quality (you know, when the “snow” looks like snow) and stand-alone.
Putting one on top of a bottle of wine defeats the purpose; is one supposed to shake the bottle to get the full effect? I don’t think the drink inside will enjoy it too much.
Thank you, I’ll use a regular cork and my old snow globe separately.

Bugs Bunny would cringe if he knew what his lookalike cousin has to do. Yes, rabbits have big teeth, but they’re for nibbling on carrots, not beer bottles!
And still… the Rabbit Keychain Bottle Opener uses those very teeth to help thirsty people in need. It wants to be handy all the time, so his ears are actually carabiners. It comes in three colors (pink, yellow and blue) and it’s cute enough to make a decent accessory too.
You might be a bit embarassed to use it if you’re going for a macho man look, but for just $3 you could just go for the yellow version and grunt at whoever dares to question your manliness. Besides, how could something that can bring a man and a beer closer together be a bad thing?
