Save the world with a bike chain!
Uh, what?
This is more or less the idea behind the “Unchain Your Business” Card Holder. Handmade from a recycled bike chain, it’s supposed to express your love for the environment and for sports.
I think that’s taking the whole green thing too far, but it’s a cool desk decoration nonetheless and the perfect gift for a cyclist.

There’s a lot of funny or geeky t-shirts out there, and many of them are very cool, but it doesn’t mean that’s all there is to casual clothes.
The Winds Of Change t-shirt, for example, offers some food for thought - and some hope. We might be set on screwing up all our natural resources now, but there’s always renewable energy. And even if it won’t happen in our lifetime, our children might change something.
We don’t know if this will prove accurate or not, but some positive thinking never hurt.

I won’t go into environmental discussions, they’re a can of worms and they seldom end in the two people agreeing. You won’t save the planet by buying more stuff, but if you’re going to buy it anyway, you might as well make a statement. And I can’t see why you can’t also look good in the process.
Petrolcide, noun. 1. The act or instance of endangering the planet by reckless use of natural resources. 2. The intentional abuse of ones position of political power for the purpose of personal profit and to further the interests of petroleum corporations at the expense of the environment and national security.
Most people probably won’t know this word, but the image on the Petrolcide t-shirt speaks for itself.

You being eco-conscious is apparently not enough anymore. Your pets have to be too. And, since Fido doesn’t actually care how his ball was manufactured, why not pay some attention to that? Since, I assume, your Fido still relies on you do to his shopping.
The RecycleBall is made from rubbery scraps left over from the manufacture of other chew toys - and, as an interesting tidbit, it appears the manufacture of the product recently moved in the USA. Rare thing indeed.
There’s not much to say about the RecycleBall since it’s just a dog toy after all, but pet-owners who want to save a planet might want to give it a go.
