The last flotation device I saw was the Waterbuoy – a life jacket for your keys. But really, if you’re stupid enough to take your keys to the beach and then let them fall out of your pocket… you deserve to lose them. Sunglasses, however… I couldn’t go to the seaside without them.
The Sunglass Personal Flotation Device looks like a much better idea: it keeps your sunglasses safely floating. You’re going to take them with you on a boat trip or even swimming, so there’s a big chance they’ll fall off and you’ll want them to float, not sink. And (this is the part I like best), it can also act as a pouch. I can’t count the times I’ve scratched my glasses, and I never leave them on shore while swimming, so this sounds like the perfect combination to me.

Silliness should be mandatory for a movie night. (Unless you’re planning to see something like Schindler’s List, I suppose.) But if the scheduled playlist includes a couple of silly comedies, the Drinking Glasses are a must-have.
They will make you look totally nerdy, and the liquid swirling around your eyes is probably hysterical (for the first 5 minutes, at least). And they’re perfect for lazy people: why lift your arm, move it to the side, grab the glass and take it to your lips? A couch potato never moves more than s/he has to. Plonk the end of the straw in a bottle and enjoy.

I saw these glasses a couple of weeks ago and filed them into the “too weird to work” category. Then… I watched an episode of CSI: NY and saw a character use them.
The Clic Reader Glasses actually are a great idea, now that I think about it. They close in front, right between the eyes, with a magnet, and they have a built-in neck band to prevent them from falling. The best part: you slip them around your neck when you’re not using them. All other means of storing glasses when not in use have less-than-fortunate results: if they dangle around your neck, they get in the way, if you put them down, you risk to crush them, if you put them on your head, they get tangled in your hair.
As long as you’re not picky about the look of your glasses (these come in just one model and two colors), you can give these a try. “As seen on TV!”
