Gregory iPhone cozy

Gregory iPhone cozyGregory is an iPhone eating frog. Fortunately, he won’t swallow your prized cell phone: he will just keep it safe, along with the headphones.

The Gregory iPhone cozy is as cute as it gets and is handmade from wool felt with a plushy microfiber lining. It also fits iPods, so don’t fret if you like it but haven’t given in to the iPhone craze yet.

I don’t like covering my phones or mp3 players up, so it would take something special to make me get a case… Gregory just might be it.

iBeer

iBeerWe always feature physical things here, but now I couldn’t resist writing about the iBeer.

No, it’s not just a “trendy” name for an old drink – it’s an iPhone app that makes it look like you’re drinking beer out of your phone. First it pours in (with the noise we all know and love), then it’s bottoms up!

I’m fascinated, I admit. This iPhone is cool after all, I might consider getting myself one when prices drop. At least to be able to see my friends’ stunned faces when I drink a beer out of it.

After the jump, a demo video. Impressive, I tell you.

Spectre iPhone Cover

Spectre iPhone CoverAll right, you finally got your iPhone, it’s nice and shiny and you love it to bits… but hm, you’re kinda getting sick of seeing the same colors every day.

I looked around for a while and there’s tons of pretty iPhone covers. One of the coolest I found was this Spectre iPhone Cover with a cute ghost to keep you company. Of course, beside giving your cell phone a new look, it will also protect it from scratches, fingerprints and the like, and you can always remove it without leaving a mark.

As a bonus, it comes with a code which allows you to download a matching wallpaper.

Homade ChocoCase

Homade ChocoCaseI doubt there are many chocolate-loving iPhone owners who would like to make their shiny phone look like a big chocolate bar, but, just in case…

The Homade ChocoCase is an ordinary silicone case, except it’s brown and the back is shaped like a chocolate bar. I don’t know how accurate the pictures are, but if it’s like this for real… it doesn’t look like very tasty chocolate. Otherwise, the idea is not half-bad: people will definitely notice you if you’re talking into a chocolate bar. It might not be positive attention, but that’s the risk you’re subjecting yourself to if you buy it.

Bike Mount Holder for iPhone / iPod / PDA / GPS

Bike Mount Holder for iPhone / iPod / PDA / GPSMy impression was that, when you buy an expensive gadget, you want to protect it from anything that could break it. Apparently some people missed that point, or are counting on only having perfect bikers as customers.

The Bike Mount Holder for iPhone / iPod / PDA / GPS offers a way to keep your gadget in front of you at all times while biking. A praise-worthy intention, but I wonder if the designers have ever ridden a bicycle. If you happen to fall off the bike (or with the bike), the iPhone or iPod or whatever will get smashed. We don’t want that, do we? Also, having the controls handy probably isn’t the best idea ever. If you’re concentrating on the next song instead of the road you might end up in a close encounter with a car or a sidewalk… (resulting in a broken gadgets and limbs).

Slide to Unlock t-shirt

Slide to Unlock t-shirtIf your boyfriend is more interested in his new iPhone than he is in you… you have a serious problem. Oh, one or two days is normal; after all, it’s a new geeky toy. But beyond that… Well, there is one thing that could remind him that that chattering around him is his lover trying to get some attention: a Slide to Unlock t-shirt.

Ok, it’s cheating. But just a bit. He’s bound to recognize the iPhone interface and then he’ll try to touch it. And, if touching your t-shirt in that certain areas doesn’t wake him upp… nothing will. You can just pack up and leave.

Soft-Touch Stylus

Soft-Touch StylusIf you’re one of the iPhone owners who have problems hitting all the right keys when trying to write a message or you just hate to put your dirty hands all over that beautiful screen, maybe you should consider your options.

One of them is the Soft-Touch Stylus, which can improve your iPhone typing skills, especially if your have large fingers. Or long nails, those must get in the way.

Just one problem: you might lose it. It comes with a built-in shirt clip, but what if you don’t have a shirt? I can’t remember the last time I wore something with a breast pocket. Its destiny is to end up lost among a billion other things in your bag, you know it.

ClearBoost

ClearBoostThe trickle of iPhone accessories is neverending. Today, the ClearBoost.

What it does, as the name suggests, is boost your signal. The ClearBoost is basically a case with a built-in booster antenna which sends the signal to the internal antenna, aimed to ensure a stronger signal especially in border areas.

Does anyone need it? I’ve personally never felt the need to boost my cell phone’s signal, but then again I don’t have an iPhone so I don’t know if they have signal issues. The major problem I see is the look: the iPhone is so eye-candy, putting an ugly case on it almost feels like blasphemy.

iShield Mirror

iShield MirrorProtecting your precious iPhone from scratches is important. Admit it, who would be awed by an iPhone that’s less than perfect?

But apparently there’s even more you can do – you can also turn it into a mirror! Er, yeah, a mirror. The iShield Mirror is a transparent case made of impact resistant polycarbonate (i.e. plastic) which slips over your phone to protect it. So far, so good. The mirror part is a bit confusing: apparently the iShield also includes a film which acts as a mirror when the phone is not in use. The problem: in these photos on iLounge the shield seems to obscure the screen quite a bit.

The mirror is probably the last feature a buyer would care about, but, honestly (screen obscuring aside), I would pick the iShield over a case without a mirror. Just because a mirror is something I carry around in a daily basis, and if I can have one included in my phone, why not?

My Touch Keys

My Touch KeysIf you’ve jumped on the iPhone bandwagon, you’re probably looking for accessories for your new gadget. Unfortunately, many of these are either useless or they just plain don’t work.

After seeing the presentation video, I think My Touch Keys is a happy exception. It’s basically an iPhone skin with holes cut for the keyboard and what it does is give you tactile input – in short, you can feel the keys, so you’ll type better and faster, with less typos. In case you’re worried no, of course it doesn’t use any adhesive and you can take it off anytime.

Only one issue: although it doesn’t impede non-typing usage, it might however be a little annoying when you want to browse your images and you feel the ‘keys’ under your fingers.

For a demonstration, check out this video.
