I guess everyone has their own nostalgia-games - you know, those first games you ever played, on a console or maybe a PC with a 133 mhz processor that was state of the art back then. There’s a lot of people who still have a soft spot for Mario so, while I’m not a fan, I thought I’d drop a line about the Grow Your Own 1up Mushroom.
No, you can’t really grow your own. It’s just a plastic mushroom just like on in the Mario games… but if you put some real dirt in its pot, it will look like you’ve grown it. Not sure why you’d want to do that, but oh well. It makes a fun desk decoration and your othe geeky friends will admire you.

It’s Mario time again! Any Mario Kart fans around? In case you were tired of just playing with virtual Mario & co., you can now get your hands on real life versions of the karts.
You can’t get into one and race, but you can play against your friends if you get a pack of Mario Karts Pull Backs. Each pack includes three (random) characters out of the six in the series: Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Princess Peach, Wario, Yoshi and Donkey Kong.
