I am not a Star Trek fan (except when it comes to making fun of the silly plots), but this is cool! It would’ve never occured to me that the Enterprise is the perfect shape for a bottle opener. Congrats to the inventive people who did this.
The Enterprise Bottle Opener is Picard’s ship - with a big hole in it. Of course, it can’t fly like this, but they had to do something with it! So they shrunk it, coated it with metal and made it a bottle opener. A very cool-looking one I might add, which is sure to impress your sci-fi geek friends.

It looks like many people are preoccupied with improving the act of drinking and keep inventing devices to help create a better experience.
Apparently a knife isn’t enough for shotgunning* anymore. It needs a special tool, and it’s called (what else) a Shotgun Can Opener. Its main purpose is drilling that perfect hole in your beer can, but it can also serve as an opener.
Why use anything else but your hand to open a beer… it’s beyond me. I’ve never tried to poke a hole in a can, but liquid under pressure is unreliable, so it might be useful for that, I give you. And, since it’s not that expensive, you can try it out and tell us how it went.
* Definition (wikipedia): a means of consuming a canned beverage, especially beer, very quickly by a particular technique involving punching a hole in the side of the can.

“It was only two beers, honey!” Sound familiar? Ok, maybe it was two beers after the other five, but who’s counting…
Actually, the Beer Tracker is. It’s a beer opener with a LED display, which records every bottle you open. Good for beer drinking contests; bad if the wife/girlfriend/mother finds it. But hey, it’s worth it. From now on no one will be able to deny you your “King of Beer” title.
Useless, yes. Fun, of course. Cheap, yes. Perfect.
