It’s a pretty scary read, considering it was written more than 40 years ago and the polluted world described in it doesn’t seem so sci-fi today. One of the things that shocked me when I first read it was that people had to use oxygen dispensers because the air was unbreathable.

We’re not quite there yet and, although I live in a large dusty and polluted city, I’ve never had breathing problems. Fortunately, the Oxygen+ (90% enriched oxygen) products are not a necessity yet – they’re aimed at energizing and revitalizing you. Among the most interesting uses are caffeine replacement, fighting jetlag and, best of all, hangover cure. They come in two sizes, O+ Stick (refillable) and O+ Mini.

I wonder if it really works like caffeine. That would be very cool, because my body is not very fond of the effects of coffee (hyper for 1 hour, normal for 2 hours, dead sleepy for the next 3).
