How I could dislike Battlestar Galactica for so long is beyond me. Luckily, the second season hooked me and now I can properly enjoy the genius behind these posters.

The set includes five old-school Battlestar Galactica propaganda posters to address almost every important aspect of the life on ship. The Cylons are the enemy. The Cylons can look like anyone. You must fight the Cylons. You can be an officer if you’ve got what it takes (and no, having Lee’s good looks is not a criteria). Every man is important. Ships can’t fly if they’re not taken care of.

Now, depending on your level of obsession, you can either:
a) think your bedroom looks cool and shows off your love for the show
b) dream of being Starbuck/Apollo and killing toasters, then wake up confused because your room looks too big for the BSG
c) drool on that hot picture of Number Six.

(And remember, the new season starts on April 4!)

I think everybody should know at least a little about the Periodic Table, not just Chemistry majors. Yeah, learning a bunch of elements by heart isn’t the most fun activity, but you never know when it might come in handy.

If you’re still not interested, you might buy this Periodic Table poster just because it looks so good. The catch: each of the elements is illustrated by a photograph. If you’re got a visual memory, that might make it easier for you to remember each element.
