Meiji Chocolate Bar PuzzlePlaying with your food is bad - and extremely messy, if the food in question is chocolate. But some nice Japanese people thought about it and made it easier for us.

It not really chocolate, but it damn well looks like it… The Meiji Chocolate Bar Puzzle is a game that looks like a chocolate bar. It’s got Tetris-like pieces, but it’s actually called Pentomino (”penta” because each piece has 5 squares) and the goal is to completely cover the play surface in with the tiles, without overlapping and empty squares. There are 2339 solutions, by the way.

But let’s admit it: the game is not that important. It’s the fact that it’s chocolate! I admit it’s probably useless and only good to impress your friends… but that’s sometimes worth it. $7 worth? That’s for you to decide.

Your! puzzle

Your! puzzleIf you’re a fan of handmade things but are a bit, well, lazy, you’ll appreciate Your! puzzle.

You get a blank puzzle and three markers. The rest is up to you. You can write a party invitation on it, or a birthday wish, or a bitchy message to your neighbour. Either way, the recipient will have a few minutes of fun assemling it and you’ll be remembered as the creative one.

All you need is some artistic talent. It’s the gesture that counts, yeah, but an ugly card won’t impress anyone.
