It looks like a paper wallet, doesn’t it? But that would just tear to pieces after the first day’s use… Of course, the manufacturers aren’t at all stupid: although it looks like paper, it’s actually a material called Tyvek, made from high-density polyethylene (plastic) fibers, that’s durable but lightweight.
The Tyvek Wallet - Par Avion is large enough to keep your money, credit cards and other random things you might carry, and because of the properties of the material it’s humidity-proof and very thin, perfect for popping in a pocket.
And maybe, just maybe, a thief who sees an “envelope” sticking out of your back pocket won’t find it worthy of stealing.
Two other models available if you’re not fond of this one, rawhide and dot matrix.

Geek is trendy nowadays, so your thourough knowledge of all controllers ever produced just might mark you as cool, not as a nerd or loser.
If you’re willing to try this out, it’s time to accesorize. First stop, the Nintendo Controller Foil Wallet. It looks just like the real thing, appears to be high quality and is roomy enough to hold your money and cards and assorted something-or-others.
It won’t fit your cartridges, however. But really, trying to shove your money into a real controller would make you a freak, so just settle for the next best thing.

Fact: a cat can improve any object. Even those that don’t need improving.
A good wallet has lots of pockets for your stuff and is sturdy, to keep said stuff from ending up all over the floor. A great wallet has all those and a cat stalking a goldfish: introducing the Sitting Kitty Wallet. It comes in black and red, features the back of a cat on one side and a fish on the other, and it can house all your money, credit cards, photos etc., so I can see no reason not to buy it. If you’re a girl and love cats, this is perfect.

I never saw the point of using a coin wallet, but in this case.. oh yes, bring it on!
The Ninja Kitty Coin Purse is simply adorable. Yeah, I’m being totally girly now, but squee! kitty! Beside making a cool (though oversized) keychain, this wallet is big enough to also hold credit cards or bills, which makes it perfect for a run to the store. My wallet is much too large to fit in my pocket, and why would I need all the stuff in there if I’m just getting a loaf of bread and a Coke? Or you might be one of those people who actually need a separate wallet for their change.

I think I’m one of the few lucky people whose wallet was never stolen. Several mobile phones, yes, but never a wallet. Better not talk about it and jinx it, though.
Anyway, this post is about wallets and thieves. About the Pickpocket Wallet, to be precise. I’m not quite sure what the “Beware pickpocket” sign should do. Remind you to be careful everytime you use your wallet, probably… Personally, I doubt a picture can help very much - you need to create a reflex of always placing your wallet in the safest spot in your bag. And please, never ever put it in your back pocket. Even I could steal it from there.
Buut… it’s funny. I like the stick men. The insides are well organized. It’s unique. And it might just help a few people be more careful. Thumbs up from me.

If you’ve been reading this site (or at least frequently use the internet), you know you can find an extremely wide range of geeky clothing. But you don’t only need clothes, right? Plus sometimes a tshirt is too loud; you might be in a place where a t-shirt with robots on it is inappropriate, so, if you still want a symbol of your geek status, you must go with something less visible.
How about a wallet? A Nintendo Wallet for the game nostalgics, that is. You might be playing on your brand-new console, but your first controller is still in your thoughts… It might sound soppy, but I for one still remember my first computer and those days when it was such a novelty.
Unlike many other geeky items, this one’s damn useful and it looks very well, the Nintendo design matches the wallet perfectly. And you can get it for cheap.

Although I prefer leather or textile wallets, I have to admit the duct tape wallets have a certain geekiness factor going for them. However, for a real hardcore wallet, you need certain skills (i.e. how not to stick the tape to your own hands while trying to cut it). For the lazier (or less crafy) duct tape lovers, I featured a wallet a couple of days ago.
But… admit it, buying it is sometimes too simple. A duct tape wallet should be hand-made. So, for the less arts-and-crafts inclined, I give you the DIY Duct Tape Wallet Kit. You get all the pieces of tape you need, pre-cut. You just have to piece them together - that shouldn’t be difficult unless you’re a total klutz.
Afterwards, in case you want to give it a personal touch, you will be happy to know that you also get extra decorative strips to satisfy the artistic you. The wallet comes in two colors: regular silver or black and you can combine the colors to get cool stuff like the Pac-Man wallet the guys at ThinkGeek put together (pictured on the left).
