Is Friday such a slow day that I can’t find any gadgets to get excited about?

Look at the latest: Star Wars Clone Wars – Action Sound LCD Watch. Ok, a Star Wars product seems interesting. Except in this case it sounds good if you’re 10. This watch feature a sculpture of a Clone Trooper which, once pushed away, reveals buttons that make sounds from the movie. I’m sure I wouldn’t loved it when I was a pre-teen (wow! lasers!), but right now… I fail to be impressed.

Do kids these days still like Star Wars? If you’ve got a young nephew who’s into the latest series this could make a perfect gift, but it’s way too tacky for an adult. Even for a Star Wars fan.
