USB Drum Kit
My brother once wanted to learn to play the drums. Besides the obvious problem (expensive), he met with strong opposition from the parents: no instrument that noisy in our house, ever. As you grow up, you stop depending on parents for money – but, let’s admit it, you don’t have much time left to invest in learning how to play an instrument.
The USB Drum Kit tries to bring the best of two worlds. It’s much cheaper than the actual instrument, it doesn’t take nearly as much space, and you can use it on your lunch break. You office mates will probably hate you, however, so beware.
It includes six different pad areas (snare, kick & two toms) and you can choose between 50 percussion sounds, 20 preprogrammed percussion sets and 100 preprogrammed beats. Or just go for the ‘learning mode’ and play along to the pre-recorded beats.
Pointless, if you ask me. Well, ok, good for fulfilling childhood dreams and annoying the crap out of you cubicle neighbour, but nothing more.
How much under $29.99?
Exactly $29.99 on ThinkGeek.com.
