Having a laptop is about portability. Not taking up much space. All the USB powered things or PCMCIA cards we have tend to be annoying sometimes.
World’s slimmest USB Bluetooth Dongle might or might not deserve its name, but it is tiny. Which is perfect if you’re planning to plug it in and never take it out.
If you want to carry it around you risk losing this baby, but I don’t really see someone carrying a Bluetooth dongle around. However, it would be cool if this came with a way to attach it to your keys, for example, like USB memory sticks.
